The lockup on 1,125,000 million shares from the capital of Petrol AD-Sofia, owned by the company’s majority shareholder Petrol Holding AD, was lifted on 11 April 2007, BSE announced.

The lockup was ordered 30 March 2007 due to the company’s 89.5 mln leva outstanding debt to Lukoil’s group of companies in Bulgaria, which is the subject of a case to be watched 11 May in Sofia City Court.

It was announced back then that if Petrol Holding had not repaid its debt within the 7-day term, the locked shares would have been sold on the stock exchange.

Petrol AD’s stock has lost 0.2% since the start of today’s session and are currently traded at 4.94 leva/share.
