A total of 13 companies are currently in the middle of capital increase procedures or are planning to start such in the next couple of months, shows data by profit.bg. If 100% of the shares they offer are subscribed, the total amount raised by these companies on BSE will come to 495.662 mln leva (253.427 mln euros).

Chimimport is after the biggest sum. The holding ranks second (after BTC) in terms of market capitalization with 1.851 bln leva (946.401 mln euros). The company is planning a capital increase from 130 mln leva (66.467 mln euros) to 150 mln leva (76.693 mln euros), and will be issuing 150 mln rights for the purpose.

6.5 of the rights entitle to the subscription of 1 new share at a nominal value of 1 lev and issue value of 11 leva.

Chimimport's subsidiary Central Cooperative Bank is second in terms of size of the capital increase – from 72.76 mln leva (37.201 mln euros) to 83.155 mln leva (42.516 mln euros). The bank will issue 72.76 mln rights and 7 rights will entitle to the subscription of 1 new share at 7.2 leva. The maximum amount the bank may raise is 74.8 mln leva (38.244 mln euros).

Holding Varna A, whose stock is included in the calculation of the broad BG40, aims at raising 49.5 mln leva (25.308 mln euros) on the stock market.

Sparky Eltos and Industrial Holding Bulgaria intend to add more than 40 mln leva (20.451 mln euros) to their capital.

Advance Equity Holding seeks some 26 mln leva (13.293 mln euros), and trade with the rights has already started.

Two real estate investment trusts are also increasing capital. Bulland Investments is raising 13.674 mln leva (6.991 mln euros), and Mel Invest Agricultural Land REIT seeks 7.73 mln leva (3.952 mln euros).

Universal Properties and Bulgarian Rose Sevtopolis are gathering 5.85 mln leva (2.991 mln euros) and 6.033 mln leva (3.084 mln euros), respectively.

Maritzatex, Sila Holding and Technology and Innovation Corporation Saedinenie are the most modest as you can see from the chart below.
