The assets of 14 Bulgarian mutual funds and investment companies increased by more than 100% in 2007 first half, shows profit.bg data.

The number one company in these terms is Advance Eastern Europe which manages some 22.59 mln leva, or 11.55 mln euros. This is 667% up from last year when assets stood at 2.94 mln leva (1.503 mln euros).

Five funds have increased assets by 200%. These are Status New Shares, KD Equity Bulgaria, Capman Max, BenchMark Fund-2 and Ug Market Maximum.

Eight other companies increased assets by between 100.71% and 187.06%. The positive tendency is due to generating new assets, as well as to the positive trend on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange over tha past several months and years.
