20 companies within the broad index BG40 registered more than 100 transactions on their positions last week (May 19-23), Profit.bg found out.

Chimimport and Moststroy were the most liquid issues with 836 and 719 deals respectively. Next is Eurohold Bulgaria with 677 deals.

FIBank, which topped the liquidity chart in the preceding week, fell to number four with 467 transactions. Monbat is fifth with 370 deals.

The top 10 also includes Lead and Zinc Complex, Orgachim, Central Cooperative Bank, Industrial Holding Bulgaria and Euroins.

The list of the 20 most liquid issues also includes Kaolin, Doverie United Holding, Sopharma, Elhim Iskra, Stara Planina Hold, Synergon Holding, Fazerles, Industrial Capital Holding, Toplivo and Balgarska Roza Sevtopolis.

The bottom two are Holding Varna A and Bulgarian American Credit Bank with just 20 and 11 transactions respectively.

There were a total of 6,638 transactions with the stocks in BG40 last week with total turnover reaching 16.35 mln leva (8.3 mln euros), versus 7,993 deals and 17.18 mln leva (8.7 mln euros) in the preceding week.
