As much as 68,4% of Serbian residents never used Internet, while 56,8% of them used a PC. Only 18,5% of Serbian households have Internet connection, showed a research on the use of IT technologies conducted by Serbian Statistics Bureau, Serbia & Montenegro Today reports.

Some 26,5% of households in Serbia have a computer, mainly in Belgrade – 30,7 percent, while the lowest number of PCs was recorded in central Serbia - 22,7 percent, the data showed.

About 1,3 million residents of Serbia use computers every day or every second day, mainly at home, then at work and in school. Most Internet connections were reported in Belgrade (22,7 percent), then in Vojvodina (19,8%) and central Serbia (15,6 percent).

As opposed to households, as much as 90,2 percent of companies in Serbia use Internet, while 52,9 percent of them have a web presentation.
