The first commercial and recreational complex in Pleven will open doors in a reconstructed building in the ideal central part of the city. Mall Pleven will be completed in September 2008.

The investor Nia EOOD is planning to pour some 9.2 mln euros in the project, which makes it one of the largest in the north-west of Bulgaria. The mall will create some 430 job places.

Mall Pleven will occupy an area of 11,000 sqm. The 5-level complex will comprise 40 shops, a supermarket, restaurants and coffee-shops, a cinema, a dry cleaner's, and a pharmacy. There will also be a day care area for children.

The mall is situated on Vassil Levsky Str, a car-free commercial street near important administrative buildings, and near several bus stops of the local public transport service. Visitors will have a large car park at their disposal.

The idea of the project developer is to create a favourite place for shopping and entertainment for people not only in Pleven, but in the entire region as well.

„We believe that people in Pleven will be happy to enjoy the advantages of having a place like that in the city, of the variety of shops and entertainment for everyone in the family concentrated in one place,“ investor Tsvetoslav Ruskov said.

A year before the completion date, a lot of leading trade marks in the region have expressed their interest in the mall. 40% of commercial premises have already been rented.

The design of the building was assigned to architects Krasimir Popov and Sergey Bonev of Proconsult architecture company. They had to cope with the difficult task of turning an already existing old building into a modern commercial center.
