A Negative Start of the Week For Local Indexes

Local indexes started the week negatively, after the numerous records last week. Today BG40 dropped 1.35% to 387.79 points, and SOFIX lost 0.67% to 1594.12 points.

A total of 183,342 shares changed hands on the position of Neochim at an average of 57.16 leva, or 5.36% down from Friday. Trade with the stock of the Dimitrovgrad-based company accounted for 10.48 mln leva (5.358 mln euros) of the total BSE turnover for the day, which came to nearly 30 mln leva (15.38 mln euros).

Eurohold Bulgaria gained 7.56% to an average of 6.12 leva. Several transactions were made at the record 6.23 leva.

Doverie United Holding added 7.72% to 9.07 leva, with 9,000 lots transferred today.

Meanwhile, Orgachim dropped 3.39% to 399.73 leva, and Chimimport lost 1.17% to 14.38 leva.

15,367 lots changed hands on the position of Blagoevgrad BT at 71.50 leva, which is 2.92% down from Friday.

The stock of Elhim Iskra AD Pazardjik surged 11%. 53,000 shares changed hands at an average of 8.32 leva. The shares from the capital increase of the company will be floated tomorrow.

The stock of Plovdiv Yuri Gagarin BT rose 7.11% to 64.63 leva. A few transactions were made at 69 leva.

The shares of Himko AD Vratsa slid 10% to 0.36%. More than 274,000 lots changed hands on the position today.

Web Media Group registered another hike – 5.28% up to 2.99 leva. The shares of Petar Karaminchev AD Ruse added 9.54% to 7.12 leva.

1,069 lots of St. Konstantin and Elena Holding AD were transferred today at an average of 43.85 leva, or 5.72% up from Friday.

A total of 1.05 mln shares changed hands on the BSE today. 64 of the traded emissions advanced, and 53 declined.
