After yesterday’s surprising lead of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) in the European Parliament Elections, the official results today showed that GERB party won the most votes – 21.69% or a total of 419301 votes.

The coalition of the Platform European Socialist gets 21.41% or 414050 votes.

At some points last night exit poll data showed that the MRF was currently occupying the leading position and the movement’s leader Mr. Dogan was applauded and congratulated. However, today’s final results showed that his party is actually third with 20.26% or 391 711 votes.

Ataka won 14.22% or 274 862 votes and The National Movement Simeon the Second (NMSS) just 6.26% or 120 945 votes.

The right wing parties will not be bale to send a representative to the European Parliament.

The Union of Democratic Forces gets 4.73% or 91 503 votes, Democrats for Strong Bulgaria – 4.34% or 83 944 votes and The Union of Free Democrats (SSD) – 0.74% or 14 355 votes.

GERB party: Dushana Zdravkova, Vladimir Uruchev, Nikolay Mladenov, Petya Stavreva, Rumyan Jeleva.

Bulgarian Socialist Party: Kristian Vigenin , Iliyana Yotova, Atanas Paparizov, Marusya Lyubenova, Evgeni Kirilov

MRF: Feliz husmenova, Mariela Baneva, Metin Kazak, Vladko Panayotov, Vanya Matanova.

Ataka: Dimitar Stoyanov, Slavi Binev.

NMSS: Bilyana Raeva.
