Quadrant Bulgaria Beverage (QBB), the Bulgarian branch of the international group Quadrant, and Agriway Holding Limited have sealed the deal for the sale of the Bulgrian PepsoCo distributor Agrima AD.

QBB is a subsidiary of the international joint venture betwen Quadrant European Beverage Limited and Pepsi Americas Inc.

Quadrant European beverage is an investment group fonded by the former major shareholder in Quadrant-Amroc Bottling Company Limited, the Romanian PepsiCo bottler.

QBB's CEOs Aviad Mayter and Eli Davidei have lead the Romanian bottling industry since 1991. Their company was named best bottling company in Europe in 2004, 2005 and 2006, and best in the world in 2006.

Pepsi Americas is the second biggest Pepsi bottler in the world, oparating in USA, Central Europe and the Caribbean. Quadrant European Beverage controls 80% of the joint venture and Pespi Amercias has 20%.

Agrima is part of Agriway Holdings, founded in 1993. The company controls the rights for production and distribution of Pepsi in Bulgaria. Apart from Pepsi the company also distributes other beverages by the same label – Mountain Dew, 7up and Mirinda.

In 2000 Agrima obtained the rights for production and distribution of the Prisun fruit juices, and in 2004 the company entered the beer market by launching the Strumsko Pivo brand.

The Aqua Diva mineral water became part of Agrima's portfolio in 2000 after the company obtained the concession on the Belovo spring. Agrima is also distributor of Guarana for Bulgaria, and of Red Bull (only on the territory of Lukoil gas stations in the country).
