Albena’s Loss Widens to 6.429 Million Leva in First Quarter

Albena AD posted a loss of 6.429 mln leva in the first quarter of 2007 versus a loss of 5.51 mln leva a year ago, the company’s financial reported filed to BSE-Sofia shows.

Total revenues in the period were down 23.96% to 1.187 mln leva. 866,000 leva of the revenues came from rents, and 321,000 leva came from sales.

The prime cost of sales in the three months ended 31 March was 4.39 mln leva compared to 4.346 mln leva in the same period last year.

Total and administrative costs amounted to 1.502 mln leva, while financial costs totaled 1.473 mln leva doubling from a year ago.

Albena AD has a core capital of 4.273 mln leva. Its own capital amounts to 253.843 mln leva. Albena 2000 and Albena Invest Holding control 48.1% and 20.58% of its capital respectively, while Balchik municipality holds 7.13%.

A total of 34 transactions involving 928 shares worth a total of 89,908.26 leva were made on this position last week.
