Three of the indexes of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) posted declines in the first day of the week. SOFIX slipped by 0.85% to 385.82 points, BG 40 lost 1.05% to 109.74 points, while BG TR30 shed 1.04% closing at 291.73 points. BG REIT remained flat at 40.59 points.

BSE's overall turnover exceeded 358,000 leva. A total of 57 issues were traded on the day with 16 of the stocks posting price gains.

Albena's stock shed 5.88% on the day closing at 64.00 leva per share. A total of 150 shares in the company changed hands.

BACB's stock price went down by 2.70% to 10.80 leva per share. BACB's major shareholder Allied Irish Banks (AIB) is seeking a buyer for its 49.9% in the Bulgarian bank, it emerged today.

AIB paid 216 mln euro (67 levba per share) in mid-2008 for its stake in BACB.

Chimimport's common stock also went under pressure on Monday. The stock of the company depreciated by 1.64% to 2.40 leva per share.
