Тhe SOFIX blue-chip index of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) jumped by 6.43% today. The index closed at 439.79 points, close to its level of November 12, 2008.

The broader BG 40 advanced by 3.71%, to 120.04 points, while BG TR30 gained 5.41%, to 324.87 points. BG REIT closed 0.57% up at 40.73 points.

BSE's overall turnover amounted to 4.04 mln leva, while the value of the over-the-counter deals exceeded 32,000 leva as at 2:30 p.m. A total of 107 issues were traded on the day with 75 of the companies posting stock price gains.

Bankings stocks posted advances as follows: First Investment Bank (+18.39%, to 3.09 leva), Central Cooperative Bank (+5.74%, to 1.46 leva), Corporate Commercial Bank (+5.88%, to 54.00 leva) and Bulgarian-American Credit Bank (+8.52%, to 14.00 leva).

The price of the preferred and the commons stock of Chimimport almost leveled on the day. The preferred shares appreciated by 5.56%, to 2.70 leva, while the common stock gained 7.60%, to 2.69 leva per share.

Sopharma's stock price went up by 2.33% on the day, to 3.69 leva per share. Toplivo advanced by 4.68%, to 4.50 leva per share.

Industrial Holding Bulgaria gained nearly 7%, to 2.15 leva per share. Monbat was also among today's advancers closing up 8.72%, at 6.25 leva per share.

Euroins advanced by 6.54% on the day to 1.63 leva per share. Lead & Zinc Complex closed 3.14% up at 13.15 leva per share.

Holding Roads jumped by 13.82%, to 3.85 leva per share.

Sparky Eltos Posted a modest advance of 0.16%, to 1.90 leva per share. M+S Hydraulic's stock price remained unchanged at 4.00 leva per share. ЕLARG Agricultural Land Opportunity Fund REIT-Sofia closed 0.13% up at 0.80 leva per share. Neochim advanced by 4.15%, to 32.65 leva per share.

Orgachim was among today's decliners slipping by 2.22%, to 88.00 leva per share. Kaolin gained 4.35%, to 4.80 leva per share on the day.

The timing could not have been any better for Enemona to announce that it has won a 25 mln euro contract. The stock of the company appreciated by 10.14%, to 9.45 leva per share.

The other two infrastructure companies posted gains as follows: Moststroy (+4.65%, to 5.22 leva) and Trace Group Hold (+7.49%, to 68.90 leva).

Eurohold Bulgaria advanced by 6.12%, to 1.30 leva per share, while Stara Planina Hold's stock price went up by 6.01%, to 1.80 leva per share.
