The low volumes and the mixed trade on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) continued on Wednesday.

SOFIX (+0.01% to 441.82 points) and BG40 (+0.16% to 131.88 points) posted gains, while BGREIT (-1.81% to 50.40 points) and BGTR30 (-0.38% to 353.60 points) ended the day in negative territory.

BSE' overall turnover amounted to 751,000 leva. The bond market accounted for 90,000 leva of the figure.

A total of 68 issues were traded on the day with 27 of the companies posting stock price gains. The value of the over-the-counter deals amounted to 17,250 leva as at 2:30 p.m.

The traded volume on the position of Industrial Capital Holding came to 4,644 shares. The stock of the company appreciated by 3.89% to 1.17 leva per share. Stara Planina Hold's stock price remained under 4 leva per share. The stock of the company depreciated by 2.45% on the day to 3.90 leva per share.

Synergon Holding shed 1.73% to 1.7 leva per share.

The trade in Sopharma's stock contributed significantly to BSE' overall turnover. A total of 43,512 shares in the company traded hands hands on the day. The stock price went down by 0.68% to 4.39 leva per share.

Hydraulic Elements & Systems was another major contributor to BSE's turnover on the day. A total of 10,100 shares in the company changed hands. The stock depreciated by 7.76% to 12.82 leva per share.

Investors sold off REITs on Wednesday. Bulgaria Real Estate Fund was the only REIT to post a stock price gain today. The stock of the company appreciated by 1.2% to 0.76 leva per share.

The biggest decliners on the day included Energetics and Energy Savings Fund(-13.57% to 1.21 leva) and Intercapital Property Development (-10.58% to 1.69 leva)

Fund Estates' stock price continues to slide. The shares of the company depreciated by 2.14% on the day closing at a price of 0.137 leva apiece. The traded volume on the position came to 84,636 shares.
