Following yesterday's mixed performance the indexes of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) ended today' session in negative territory.

The SOFIX blue-chip index, which posted a modest gain yesterday, shed 0.69% of its value today, closing at 458.80 points. The broader BG40 slipped by 0.77% to 123.07 points.

BGREIT and BGTR30 lost 0.36% and 0.77% to 49.33 and 346.67 points, respectively.

BSE's overall turnover came to 1.53 mln leva, while the value of the over-the-counter trades amounted to nearly 316 000 leva as at 2:45 p.m.

A total of 83 issues were traded on the day 23 of the stocks posting price gains.

A total of 192,639 of Chimimport's common shares traded hands on the day. The price of the stock remained unchanged at 2.91 leva per share. The preferred stock of the company depreciated by 1.69% to 2.85 leva per share after 7 680 shares traded.

The traded volume on the position of Zarneni Hrani Bulgaria came to 280 900 shares. The stock price of the company went down by 0.82%, to 0.73 leva per share.

Sopharma (43 930 shares), Eurohold Bulgaria (10 009 shares) and Sparky Eltos (12 290 shares) were also traded in higher volumes. Sopharma's stock depreciated by 0.25%, to 4.05 leva per share, while Eurohold's stock price remained unchanged at 1.45 leva per share. Sparky Eltos closed 0.25% up at 2.00 leva per share.

The banking stocks ended the day mixed. Bulgarian-American Credit Bank advanced by 1.49% to 18.46 leva per share. Decliners on the day included Central Cooperative Bank (-0.85%, to 1.51 leva) and Corporate Commercial Bank (-2.56%, to 59.00 leva). First Investment Bank's stock remained unchanged at 2.73 leva per share.

Infrastructure stocks ended the day lower. Holding Roads' stock shed 1.69% of its value to 2.85 leva. Moststroy slipped by 0.25% to 4.34 leva while Trace Group Hold closed 1.37% down at 72.00 leva.
