The indexes of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) ended the first session of the week with losses. The SOFIX blue-chip index slipped by 2.7% to 1216.38 points, while the broader BG40 index skidded 3.75% lower to 335.37 points. The BG REIT index ended the day 0.21% down at 96.37 points, while the BG TR30 index of best performers in total return declined by 2.37% to 822.36 points.

BSE’s trading turnover amounted to 33.71 mln leva today, while the number of traded issues stood at 116. A total of 21 of the stocks ended the day with gains. The high turnover may be put down mainly to the trade on two positions. A total of 597,337 shares in Bulgartabac Holding changed hands in a single transaction at a price of 28.25 leva apiece. The total value of the transaction amounted to 16.87 mln leva.
A total of 136,416 shares in Blagoevgrad BT traded hands on the day at an average price of 80.75 leva per share. The turnover on the position topped 11 mln leva.
The value of the block deals and other registered trades came to 1.04 mln leva.

Katex and Oil & Gas Exploration & Production were the only companies traded on BSE’s Official market to end today’s session with gains. The number of declining issues exceeded the number of advancing within the SOFIX index. Orgachim’s stock depreciated by 6.07% to an average of 339.36 leva per share.

Central Cooperative bank (CCB) and First Investment Bank (FIbank) also ended the session on negative territory. CCB shed 3.11% to an average of 5.3 leva per share, while FIBank closed 2.47% lower at 7.09 leva per share.

Corporate Commercial Bank’s stock appreciated by 0.4% to an average of 87.78 leva per share. A total of 10,350 shares in the bank were traded on the day.

Infrastructure companies’ stock prices also headed south. Holding Roads shed 5.68% to an average of 1,105.31 leva per share.

Moststroy’s stock depreciated by 7.8% to an average of 148.08 leva per share, while Trace Group Hold skidded 8.01% lower to an average of 149.34 leva per share.

A total of 5,816 shares in Zarneni Hrani Bulgaria were traded today. The stock lost 3.51% of its value closing at an average of 2.75 leva per share.

Holding Roads was the most traded stock on BSE today with 77 transactions, Profit.bg data show.
