Trading got off to a flying start on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) this week. The SOFIX blue-chip index and the broader BG40 index ended a fourth straight session with gains. The SOFIX closed 3.17% higher at 1276.52 points. The BG40 advanced by 5.48% to 355.68 points.

The BG REIT and BG TR30 indexes closed 1.13% and 2.79% higher at 95.56 points and 845.39 points, respectively.

BSE's trading turnover amounted to 10.32 mln leva today. A total of 131 companies were traded on the day. The stocks of 90 of the companies closed higher. The value of the block deals and other registered trades amounted to 256,000 leva.

Sparky Eltos was SOFIX's only loser today. The stock depreciated by 0.39% to an average of 12.77 leva per share after a total of 165 shares in the company changed hands on the day. Sparky Eltos was also the only decliner among the companies traded on BSE's Official market.

Orgachim was BSE's biggest gainer today. The stock of the company appreciated by 8.47% to an average of 380.81 leva per share after a total of 235 shares in the company changed hands on the day.

Infrastructure companies were once again in the spotlight. Holding Roads' stock price went up by 5.05% to an average of 1,129.48 leva per share. A total of 803 shares in the company changed hands in 223 transactions today.

A total of 33,287 shares in Central Cooperative Bank changed hands on the day. The stock appreciated by 4.93% to an average of 5.54 leva per share. The three other banks included in the calculation of the index also ended the day on positive turf.

First Investment Bank's stock continued to recover the recent losses. The stock appreciated by 3.24% to an average of 7.34 leva per share. A total of 88,765 shares in the bank changed hands in 147 transactions.

The stocks of Corporate Commercial Bank and Bulgarian American Credit Bank advanced by less than 1% each. Corporate Commercial Bank's (BACB) stock price went up by 0.61% to an average of 86.02 leva per share, while BACB closed 0.9% higher at an average of 64.27 leva per share.

A total of 246 transactions in Trace Group Hold's stock were sealed today. The volume amounted to 3,209. As a result the stock of the holding company appreciated by 10.29% to an average of 160.24 leva per share.

Moststroy's stock price went up by 7.57% to an average of 157.77 leva per share.

Special purpose vehicles topped the ranking in terms of trading volume today. These included: Advance Terrafund (+2.07% to an average of 1.97 leva per share.), FairPlay Properties (+7.88% to 1.78 leva per share), Agricultural Land Opportunity Fund Mel Invest REIT (-14.61% to 1.11 leva per share), Aktiv Properties (-1.66% to 1.78 leva per share) and etc.

Petrol's record setting streak continued today. The stock price of the company went up by 4.92% to an average of 10.46 leva per share.

Zarnieni Hrani Bulgaria's stock price also continued to go up. The stock of the company appreciated by 6.92% to an average of 2.78 leva per share.

It was all good news for Web Media Group today as well. The stock of the company added 3.43% to its value closing at an average of 2.41 leva per share.
