The broader BG40 index of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) posted a gain in fourth straight session today. The index advanced by 1.90% to 351.92 points on the day. The SOFIX blue-chip index added 0.54% to its value, closing at 351.92 points. The BGREIT and BGTR30 indexes ended the day 0.31 and 0.04% lower at 95.27 and 819.97 points, respectively.

BSE's trading turnover totaled 11.8 mln leva (6.03 mln euros) today, compared to 14.278 mln leva (7.3 mln euros) turnover recorded for the previous session.

A total of 29 of the 40 stocks included in the calculation of the BG40 index ended the day on positive territory. The gainers and the decliners within the SOFIX stood at 14 and 5, respectively.

Lead & Zinc Complex was the best performing blue chip today. The stock of the company appreciated by 8.51% to an average of 48.45 leva per share. Toplivo's stock price went up by 2.20% to 20.01 leva per share, while Orgachim gained 1.07%, closing at 405.43 leva per share.

Billboard was actively traded today on BSE. A total of 61,000 shares of the company changed hands in 113 transactions. The total value of the deals amounted to 664,000 leva. The stock appreciated by over 7% to an average of 10.80 leva per share.

Infrastructure companies also ended the day on positive turf. Holding Roads added 1.22% to its value, closing at 917.58 leva per share. Moststroy's stock appreciated by 5.06% to 113.45 leva per share, while Trace Group Hold closed 4.07% higher at 123.10 leva per share.

A total of 112,000 shares in Petrol changed hands today. The stock depreciated by 3.02% to 6.43 leva per share. Agria Group Holding and Alcomet skidded 10.43 and 3.75% lower to 7.73 and 10.00 leva per share.

Lead & Zinc Complex, Billboard and Enemona were the most traded stocks today with 118, 113 and 100 transactions, respectively.
