SOFIX was the only declining index on the BSE today. The blue chip indicator dropped 0.04% to 1916.79 points, while BG40 climbed 0.51% to 613.05 points. BGREIT closed at 104.28 points, or 0.44% up from yesterday, and BGTR30 added 0.43% to 1205.23 points.

Today's trade session was very active. BSE's turnover reached 43.174 mln leva (22.074 mln euros). Of the 164 ctive positions, 79 advanced, and 10 were unchanged. The bourse's market capitalization reached 28.442 bln leva (14.542 bln euros).

The stocks of nine SOFIX companies advanced and Bulgarian American Company remained unchanged at 81 leva/share. The index's decline is mainly due to trade on the position of Bulgarian Telecommunications Company and Petrol.

The telecom's shares dropped 5.23% to an average of 10.14 leva. Previously the price had stayed for some time at 10.7 leva. The fact that the Financial Supervision Commission's did not approve the buy back bid from AIG probably had its toll on stock price today.

Petrol lost 1.26% to an average of 4.69 leva at a turnover of 3,252 shares.

Industrial Holding Bulgaria had a strong session. The stock surged 6.05% to an average of 15.08 leva at a significant volume of 143,040 shares transferred.

The good financial report posted by Sparky Eltos boosted trade today and shares added 1.52% to an average of 13.02 leva.

Lead and Zinc Complex continues to surge. The stock passed the 110 leva level today and ended at an average of 111.2 leva. Bids are at 113.5 leva, and asks at 114.22 leva.

Meanwhile HD Patishta gained 5.05% to an average of 36 875.71 leva. Moststry also attrcated interest today jumping 13.21% to 1757.9 leva.
