The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) posted net profit in 2007 higher than that of the Prague and Sofia Stock Exchanges, worth €8.68 million, while that of the Prague Stock Exchange amounted to €7.54 mln, BusinessStandard. Ro reported.

Romanian brokers expressed their dissatisfaction regarding the high profits posted by BVB, which are a sign of high fees and reduced investments. BVB shareholders recently approved a 10 percent fee reduction.

The Warsaw Stock Exchange posted the largest profit in the region, worth €35.85 mln, while Vienna’s Stock Exchange has not yet posted last year’s profit.
