BSE“s daily turnover reached 4.2 mln leva (2.147 mln euros) today, picking up from the levels of around 2 mln we saw in the past several sessions. All four indexes closed down.

The blue chips SOFIX fell 3.06% to 1135.82 points, returning to levels close to those from end of November 2006.

BG40 lost 3.11% to 304.46. The last time the index was around those levels was in June 2007 when it hit 302.88.

BGREIT and BGTR30 also ended in red, declining 2.06% and 2.1% respectively, to 93.12 and 770.02.

24 out of the 114 stocks traded today advanced, The value of block and other agreed transactions stood at 2.62 mln leva (1.33 mln euros).

Many stocks on Official Market of Equities, Segment B, suffered serious pressure. Chimimport plunged 5.26% to 9.12 leva, and Central Cooperative Bank slid 6% to 4.85 leva. Orgachim declined 5.27% to 288.74 leva.

Lead and Zinc Complex was the top decliner, losing 10.53% to 34.6 leva.

All holding companies on Segment A closed on negative. Industrial Holding Bulgaria is the leader in terms of traded volume, after 10,020 shares changed hands at -3.6% to 6.84 leva.

Monbat continues to decline. The stock lost 1.52% today closing at 12.66 leva/share. Petrol shed a tiny 0.04% to 8.64 leva.

CCB is not the only bank suffering losses today. FIBank shares depreciated by 2.87% to 6.99 leva and Corporate Commercial Bank closed at -2.04% to 90.1 leva.

Eurohold Bulgaria lost 5.5% of its capitalization after shares closed at 5.28 leva.

It was another negative session for the stocks of Holding Roads, Moststroy and Trace Group Hold had another negative session. Shares in Holding Roads fell to 951.2 leva, which is 6.46% down on the position.

Moststroy closed at 127.36 leva (-6.32%) and Trace lost 4.61% to 126.44 leva.

After fluctuating for a day, Agria Group Holding climbed 3.69% today to 9 leva.
