In August Bulgaria's industrial output dropped 1%, but still remains 7.3% up on an annual basis, according to a Eurostat survey.

The nation's industrial output ranks third in the EU in terms of growth pace. Number one is Lithuania, which added 13.7% y/y, while Slovenia (10%) ranks second.

Romania is second in terms of August decline rate (2%). Still, on an annual basis the country's output climbs 3.8%.

Greece's industrial production indicator has also dropped y/y.

The Eurozone as a whole added a total of 1.2% in August, and 4.3% year on year.
