Business Calendar For The Week 17 – 23 September

Three public companies have appointed their general meetings of shareholders this week. These are Chimimport, Energoremont Holding and Holding Varna A.

Shareholders in Chimimport will discuss dividend distribution on 2006 income and will hear the reports of the company's certified public accountant and the investors relations director. Shareholders will also vote amendments to the company's statute and management bodies.

Chimimport rights entitling to subscription of new shares from the capital increase will be traded on the stock exchange till 21 September. 472,000 rights changed hands in 650 transactions last week.

The general meeting of Energoremont Holding is scheduled today, 17 September. Shareholders will vote a proposal for the issuance of an emission of bonds worth up to 50 mln leva (25.564 mln euros), or the equivalence in another currency.

On 21 September (Friday), the general meeting of Holding Varna A will vote distribution of 2006 profit, as well as amendments to the statute.

Trade with the rights issued by Singular REIT Sofia entitling to subscription of new shares from the company's capital increase ends today, while the rights of Advance Equity Hold will be traded till Friday (21 September).

Rights of Universal Properties REIT will be traded on the BSE till 24 September (Monday). The company plans to increase capital from the current 650,000 leva (332,339 euros) to 6.45 mln leva (3.297 mln euros).

The emission of Devin AD will be floated on the BSE Thursday (20 September). The company filed and IPO which raised 18.3 mln leva (9.356 mln euros).

Nearly 10 mln leva will be invested in technological renovation and improvement of production capacities. Devin aims at boosting production speed from 26,000 bottles per hour to 40,000 bottles per hour.

Blagoevgrad BT and TK Hold start dividend payment this week, on September 17 and September 21, respectively. Meanwhile, September 19 is the deadline for obtaining dividend from Bulgarian Telecommunications Company.

Last week BG40 added 3.62% to the record 444.91 points and SOFIX climbed 3.59% to 1677.20.
