Trading on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) will be carried out through the new Xetra trading platform as of today (June 16).

Bulgaria's Financial Supervision Commission (FSC) issued on June 11 a partial approval of BSE's Rules and Regulations in order for the launch of the Xetra platform not to be postponed.

This week the investors will be focused mainly on the new trading rules and the options that the system offers. The trading activity is expected to decline initially until the investors get familiar with the new platform.

A total of 13 listed companies will hold general shareholders' meetings this week. Some of these include Industrial Capital Holding, Slanchev Bryag, Severcoop Gamza Holding, Biovet and HidroPnevmoTehnika.

On June 16 the shareholders of Sever Holding will put to vote a proposal for the increase of the capital of the company from 780,660 to 3.903 mln leva through the issuing of 3.12 mln new shares.

The shareholders of Slanchev Bryag will discuss on June 20 a proposal for the distribution of 5.269 mln leva retained profit from previous years as dividend. The issued capital of the company stands at 1.96 mln leva, while the gross dividend per share will amount to 2.69 leva per share.

Medica AD – Sofia will start dividend payments on June 16. The shareholders will receive 3 leva gross dividend per share.

Rights enabling shareholders to take part in the capital raise operation of Exclusive Property REIT will be traded on BSE as of June 19 (Thursday). The company offers a total of 1.454 mln shares with 1.45 leva issue value each.

The total number of the rights stands at 7.99 mln. The rights and the shares were issued at a 5.5 to 1 ratio. The capital will be subscribed only if at at least 730,000 new shares get subscribed and paid.

Only three trading sessions were held on BSE last week. The market was closed on June 12 and 13 in relation to the introduction of the new trading platform.
