The Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) is in for a six-day work week. The general shareholders' meeting of Momina Krepost is scheduled for tomorrow (May 13).

The shareholders will discuss the capital increase of the company from 282,000 leva (144,180 euros) to 1.41 mln leva (721,000 euros) with own funding. Thus, each shareholder will receive for free five new shares for each existing share.

Tuesday is the last day for acquiring stock in Toplivo and Emka, which will enable the shareholders to exercise their voting rights at the respective general meetings of the two companies.

Toplivo shareholders will decide on the distribution of the company's profit for 2007, as well as the distribution of the profit for previous years and the reserves. The Shareholders of Emka will put to vote a proposal for the capital increase of the company from 5.376 mln leva (2.74 mln euros) to 10.753 mln leva (5.40 mln euros) with own funding.

An open-bid auction for the unused rights issued as part of the capital raise operation of Alfa Credit SPV will be held on BSE on May 13. The final date for the subscription of shares issued in the capital increase of Sila Hoding is set for the same day.

Alfa Credit plans to hike its capital from 650,000 leva (332,300 euros) to 1.3 mln leva (664,700 euros), while Sila Holding's will raise its capital from 91,000 leva (46,500 euros) to 2 mln leva (1.02 mln euros).

The general shareholders' meetings of Monbat and M+S Hydraulic are scheduled for Friday (May 16). Monbat shareholders will put to vote a proposal for the two-fold increase of the capital of the company with own funding, while M+S Hydraulic's shareholders will discuss the repurchasing of up to 3% of the outstanding shares of the company.

BSE's total trading turnover amounted to 25.485 mln leva (13.03 mln euros) last week. The BG40 index advanced by 0.51%, to 320.03 points over the period, while the SOFIX blue-chip index gained 2.06% to 1,161.92 points.
