CB Central Cooperative Bank (

) posted profit in the amount of 18.525 mln leva (9.471 mln euros) in the period January – September, versus 8.53 mln leva (4.361 mln euros) a year ago, the latest financial report reveals.

Revenues from interest payments amount to 63.3 mln leva (32.364 mln euros) within the period, and revenues from tax and commissions stand at 20.34 mln leva (10.400 mln euros).

Profit from capital instruments and related derivatives, which came to 16.96 mln leva (8.671 mln euros), contributed to the overall positive result. From currency exchange, the bank generated 2.33 mln leva.

At the same time depreciation of credits and borrowings (including financial leasing) cost the bank some 9.33 mln leva. Administrative expenses came to 41.2 mln leva, depreciations stood at 4.54 mln leva.

CCB's assets grew to 1.416 bln leva (723.989 mln euros). The bank's core capital stands at 72.761 mln leva (37.202 mln euros), and own capital is it 135.63 mln leva (69.346 mln euros).

At the moment Central Cooperative Bank is in the process of increasing capital from the current 72.76 mln leva (37.201 mln euros) to 83.155 mln leva (42.516 mln euros). The bank is offering 10,394,397 shares at an issue value of 7.20 leva.

Main shareholder is CCB Group Asset Management with 64.52% of the capital.

6,248 shares changed hands yesterday at an average of 12.88 leva.
