Yesterday, September 19, Chimimport AD (

) acquired 181,243 shares at a face value of 100 leva, representing 75.79% of the capital of Bek Interantional AD, as well as 139,826 shares at a face value of 100 leva, representing 99.64% of Zarneni Hrani AD, BSE reported.

The shares were purchased at face value, which makes the investments total value stand at 32.107 mln leva (16.416 mln euros).

In August the holding purchased 44,305 shares, or 36.92% of the capital of Elektrorem Varna, whose core activity is manufacturing and trade with home appliances and water heaters, as well as renting out of offices and warehouse premises.

Chimimport posted a consolidated profit in the amount of 60.4 mln leva (30.882 mln euros) in H1, which is 2.96 mln leva more than a year ago.

We remind that tomorrow is the final date for trade with Chimimport rights that would entitle the holder to participation in the forthcoming capital increase from 130 mln leva (66.467 mln euros) to 150 mln leva (76.693 mln euros). 6.5 rights entitle to the subscription of 1 new share at a face value of 1 lev and issue value of 11 leva.

Chimimport shares were traded at prices between 15.20 leva and 15.988 leva in early trade today.
