The open-bid public auction for 100 per cent of the capital of Citas Ltd. will take place on 24 April (Tuesday), the Privatization Agency announced on its website.

The initial price in the bidding has been set at 1.7 mln leva, and the increment will be 150 000 leva. Candidates are required to deposit 400 000 leva to be allowed to enter the bidding.

The deadline for submission of bidding documents is 19 April. The tender documentation costs 1000 leva.

Citas Ltd.’s activities are concentrated in the IT field, offering development, installation and distribution of information technologies, program products and automated systems. The company also offers consultant services, trade in computer and office equipment, publishing, additional qualification and motivation training, etc.

The capital of Citas Ltd. is in the amount of 5300 leva allocated in 53 shares with a par value of 100 leva each. Its sole owner is Bulgaria’s Ministry of Economy and Energy.

In 2005 the company posted a profit of 9000 leva versus a loss of 3000 leva for the first nine months of 2006. The company has an average of 8 registered employees.
