Corporate Commercial Bank (

) booked 20.44 mln leva profit for the first half of 2008, up 83.5% year on year, data published on x3news show.

The bank's return on equity stood at 24.35%, while the return on assets amounted to 2.44%.

The total capital adequacy of the bank stood at 12.97% as at June 30, 2008, while the Tier 1 capital adequacy was 12.49% exceeding considerably the required 6%.

The credit portfolio of the bank amounted to 891.55 mln leva as at the end of June, accounting for 52.4% of the total assets of the bank (1.7 bln leva). The value of the portfolio has risen by 66.9% or 357.2 mln leva in the period.

The value of the classified credits stod at 2.354 mln leva, or 0.26% ot the total value of the portfolio.

Corporate Commercial Bank's stock was last traded at a price of 91 leva per share.
