Representatives of more than 30 companies applying to design and build Danube Bridge 2’s adjacent infrastructure will take part in the first explanatory meeting on the project in Vidin.

Candidates to become executors of the infrastructure from the Bulgarian side can buy tender documents no later than 21 May, the Bulgarian National Radio reported.

Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works is expected to issue a building permit by the end of the month, which will allow the actual construction of the Vidin-Kalafat bridge to begin in the end of May.

Under the agreement, signed in the end of January, the building of Danube Bridge-2 will take 38 months.
