Participants: Bela Papp, Kostadin Krantev, Peter Tsvetkov, Chavdar Platikanov, Alexander Yordanov, Yana Yankova, Nadezhda Kotsinova

If you want to enter the world of e-commerce, it doesn't matter if your business is big or small - the door is open to everyone. But in the future development of the company and its long-term strategy, size definitely matters. How do you grow big online? E-commerce is a science and as such it has its own theory. What can the experts tell us, so that we don't just rely on our own "trial and error" algorithms? Can AI make our lives even easier? How much more digital can the user experience get? Are we getting close to the moment when humanity would like some "de-digitalization" and a return to live communication? Is the consumer fully immersed in the ecommerce world or the future of retail is in the seamless omnichannel shopping experience?

Talking Points:

eCommerce leaders' behavior: mobile commerce, implementation of innovations, omnichannel approach, advanced communication, voice shopping, withstanding supply chain issues, emphasis on data protection
Consumer behavior: Today everything is digital, and our phone is a bank office, a supermarket, an insurance broker, a restaurant, and a travel agency all at the same time. What is the next step?

10:50 - 12:00 / The Power of Scalability

Participants: Anna Polischuk, Aleksander Terziyski, Nikolay Todorov, Kosta Jordanov, Stoyan Mitov, Alexander Botov

How tо grow from start-up into huge, scalable, and profitable businesses despite limited resources? How to be ready to handle increased demand, trends, and needs, even with the emergence of new competitors? The Scalability – or the ability to withstand pressure as a result of growth, without being hindered by resources or structure -  continues to gain popularity, especially following the advancements in technology that ease communication to customers and increase the efficiency of doing business. Learn from successful entrepreneurs.

Talking Points:

The Scalability as Competitiveness: The growth into a profitable company includes entering a large market and creating a niche for the company’s products, which pose significant competition to the incumbent businesses in the same industry.
From Great Ideas to Uniqueness: Innovative startups aim at not only creating a product for the industry but also creating a new industry. Scalable startups differ greatly from small businesses in the vision and model - a scalable business grows to dominate the market.
Scaling of Operations: The pressing HR issue in Bulgaria.

12:00 - 12:30 / Oscar Pierre – live interview

12:30 - 13:30 / Lunch Break

13:30 – 14:40 / Next Gen Metaverses

Participants: Andrey Lubenov, Vladislav Lazarov, Nicola Stojanow, Nikola Ivanov

Metaverses have existed for decades in the form of multiplayer online games. But we may soon enter an age of immersive experience hardly distinguishable from our real world. Gartner predicted that 25% of people will spend at least one hour a day in the metaverse by 2026. McKinsey's preliminary forecast shows the metaverse has the potential to grow up to $5 trillion in value by 2030. Organizations across industries have already been looking to metaverse components (extended reality headsets, blockchain and NFTs, IoT and cloud tech) - as a means of connection and new sources of revenue. That exploration continues in new ways as these developing technologies increasingly interconnect and mature.

Talking Points:

From immersive entertainment to improved operations: business-focused metaverse use cases, both in the near term and in the future
Enhanced customer experiences: Advertising, branding and marketing potential of imaginary worlds
The metaverse economy: NFTs (nonfungible tokens or records of digital ownership stored in the blockchain) could be an important part of the metaverse economy, by enabling authentication of possessions and property.
New revenue streams: How to sell goods and services that only exist in the digital world; Is it possible to detach the brand from the core product and create a brand-new business model?

14:40 – 15:30 / Future Is Fintech

Participants: Borislav Velkov, Petya Lakova-Neycheva, Petar Rizov, Zornitsa Yanakieva, Georgi Mihaylov, Elena Nasalevska, Leonid Dimov

The question is no longer whether Fintech will transform financial services, but which firms will apply it best to improve customer experience, enhance the appeal of their products and emerge as leaders. Industry practitioners are going to discuss the Fintech perspectives that will determine the steps that companies can take to put themselves in the best position to lead.

Talking Points:

Digital payment innovations, The Rise of Digital-only banking, Blockchain in finance make-over, AI for financial institutions, Intensifying fintech regulation - which trends will impact everything that involves money, from payment and banking to technologies that enhance traditional financial services.

15:30 - 16:50 / Building the Digital State

Participants: Üllar Jaaksoo, Annika Arras, Bozhidar Bozhanov, Ivaylo Penchev, Daniel Lorer

New technologies offer tremendous opportunities for governments to deliver efficient public services while optimizing the citizen experience in a more sustainable way.

Which individual government departments, agencies and local governments must drive transformation by collaborating with businesses, entrepreneurs, nonprofits and citizens themselves?
What does the current opportunity to transform the way we move depend on?
Which technologies, regulations and consumer attitudes have the greatest role to play in accelerating the transformation to e-mobility?
The digital state's impact on society, equality, employment and - most important - on building skills for the future?
