Economic and Investment Bank and First Financial Brokerage House have the highest turnovers on BSE in this year's half 1, data provided by the Financial Supervision Commission reveals. The deals made via the bank and the brokerage house are in the amount of 830.499 mln leva (424.627 mln euros) and 218.283 mln leva (111.616 mln euros), respectively.

UniCredit Bulbank ranks third with a turnover of 177.654 mln leva (90.833 mln euros), followed by three banks – Central Cooperative Bank, UniCredit Bulbank (CB HVB Bank Biochim) and Bulgarian Post Bank, all with turnovers of more than 100 mln leva.

IP Capman is seventh with 80.452 mln leva (41.135 mln euros), which is 2.94% of the total bourse's turnover for the period.

Investbnak ranks eighth, followed by IP Karoll and Raiffeissenbank – Bulgaria. Beta-Corp, BenchMark, TBI Invest and Bulbrokers.

Karoll is first in terms of number of transactions (27,000), followed by BenchMark (13,721), and Elana Trading (11,559). These are three also boast the most COBOS certificates, according to 31 August data (in the following order Karoll, Elana Trading and BenchMark Finance).

Fourth and fifth in terms of number of transactions in H1 are Bulgarian Post Bank and Ug Market with, respectively, 8,937 and 8,006 transactions.

Popularna Kasa 95, Capman, FFBH, Sofia International Securities and Zagora Finarcoop also make it into the top 10.

There have been a total of 165,308 transactions on BSE between January – June, which generated 2.734 bln leva (1.397 bln euros) in total.
