Enemona will implement the first ESCO (Energy Services Company) energy efficiency contract in Bulgaria’s industry. The agreement was signed between Enemona and Gotse-Delchev-based Pirin Tex Ltd., Enemona announced.

The implementation of the proposed energy saving measures will reduce the annual emissions of greenhouse gases by around 2,000 t and is expected to help the company save up to 500,000 leva a year.

The energy saving measures package, which will be implemented by Enemona AD for a period of 8 months based on the ESCO contract, will bring the client annual savings of around 500,000 leva.

Besides the guaranteed savings of electricity, heat and money, energy efficiency measures will also bring significant environmental benefits. After their implementation the greenhouse gas emissions will be reduced substantially - by about 2,000 t. Enemona will provide about 800,000 leva for the project and the simple buy-out term is 2.5 years.

In 2006 Enemona implemented energy efficiency projects wroth over 6.5 mln leva, where 5.5 mln of them were under ESCO contracts.

Enemona AD is the first Bulgarian company to have successfully implemented an ESCO contract - a contract with guaranteed result for implementation of energy efficiency measures in public buildings.

The company plans to organize an IPO on BSE offering 15-20% of its capital. The issue will be managed by ELANA Trading and United Bulgarian Bank AD.
