Bulgarian company Ficosota Syntez posted a 58% increase in sales in 2006, confirming its leading position on the market of home care and personal care products. Last year the company made the greatest turnover among detergent producers in Central and Eastern Europe (76 mln leva, or 38.858 mln euros)

„We are planning to increase the amount of our investments in our markets of operation to nearly 32 mln leva (16.361 mln euros). The funds will be allocated to all sectors of our activity. We are planning to invest some 17 mln leva (8.692 mln euros) just in the area of hygiene and tissue products,“said manager Krasen Kurkchiev.

Ficosota Syntez is known as a manufacturer of high quality products satisfying all sorts of household needs. Except for detergents the company also produces food products via its subsidiary Ital Food Industry. At the moment Ficosota Syntez operates on the markets of seven countries in Southeast Europe – Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, Serbia, Macedonia, Moldova, Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the independent territory of Kosovo. The company has 14 trade labels, which meet all European quality and safety standards.

Ficosota Syntez produces some of the most popular hygiene products in Bulgaria – such as soap (Teo, Fiona, Tete-s-Tete), washing powder (Tema, Savex), dishwashing liquid (Feya, Eho Hydro Balsam) etc.
