The mayor of Varna Mr. Kiril Yordanov and Mario Zahariev, chair of Fair Play Commercial EAD Board of Directors, opened the first building in Varna Logistics Park at a ceremony today.

This is the first building of a complex comprising modern storage facilities, offices and administrative buildings, the investors told Profit.bg.

Building A1 features both storage facilities and offices. It covers 5,114 square meters and its total built-up area is 6,405 square meters, of which 5,060 m2 of storage space, 960 m2 office space and 385 m2 commercial space. The building is in the southeastern part of the complex.

The first tenants are Bulgarian and foreign companies operating in different sectors of economy , such as pharmacy, shipping, food distribution etc.

Varna Logistics Park is the most up-to-date logistics complex in Bulgaria and the first of its kind in the city. It was designed to meet the standards for quality storage space, combined with effective goods management and a pleasant work environment.

The complex is situated in the western industrial area of the coastal city on a territory of 120,000 square meters. It has quick access to the ring road and to Vladislav Varnenchik Blvd, which connects the beach with the motorway to Sofia and all other main transport routes. The complex will feature specialized storage space offering temperature checking and cross-docking systems.

The first building is 10.45 meters high. Floor 1 features storage space. Level 2 has offices and one more storage area. The two floors are connected by two staircases and a large elevator.

The complex has three entrance points – two on the northern side (on Perla Str) and one from the southwestern side (from Al. Loskov Str.). The park will feature 1,000 car parking spaces.

The project develop is Fair Play Commercial EAD. Additional financing is provided in partnership with Bulbank. The entire project is valued at 57 mln euros, some 18 mln has already been invested. Colliers International is the project consultant.

All space in Building 1 has already been rented. Tenants include DHL, Speedy, Inter Foods, etc.

According to Galina Dinitrova from Colliers International, rents in the complex are at 7.5 eur/m2 for office space and at 5 eur/m2 for storage area.
