GTC Romania, the domestic subsidiary of the Israeli company Globe Trade Center, in seven months sold 500 homes worth over 52 million euros, from part of the Rose Garden project, Colentina Road, Bucharest.

The Rose Garden project includes 11 buildings with 908 flats, ZF reported. The first stage of the investment is scheduled for completion in 2008.

Having sold more than half the flats available for sale from the Rose Garden project, the company decided to invest in a new real estate project in the Northern part of the Capital - FeliCity Residential.

"We decided to enter the residential market this year because we believed we would be strong enough to carry out an investment of this importance.

A home building project entails more responsibilities than an office building project. On our future project, we will almost be "wedded" to 1,000 people," said Galon, manager of GTC Romania.
