Holding Varna A's Consolidated Profit Up 255% Y/Y in 2007

Holding Varna A booked 5.51 million leva (2.81 million euro) consolidated profit for 2007, compared to 1.55 million netted a year earlier, the consolidated annual report of the company for 2007 shows.

The holding company posted 7.23 million leva (3,69 million euro) non-consolidated profit for 2007. Holding Varna A's sales revenue came to 1.63 million leva in 2007, compared to 3.44 million leva generated for 2006.

The balance sheet value of the company's assets amounted to 100.73 million leva (51.5 million euro) as at the end of 2007. The figure stood at 39.22 million a year earlier. The long-term assets of the company are estimated at 14.95 million leva, which is an increase of nearly 2 million leva over the last year. The current assets amount to 85.78 million leva, up from 26.32 million leva a year earlier.

Holding Varna A's non-current assets remained almost unchanged at 19.82 million leva. The short-term liabilities of the company rose from 4.62 million leva to 10.25 million leva.

The issued capital of the company stood at 2.1 million leva (1,07 million euro) as at the end of 2007, while the equity capital rose from 15.14 million leva (7.74 million euro) at the end of 2006 to 70.56 million leva (36,07 million euro) a year later.
