The lack of interest on behalf of buyers and sellers alike marked the trade on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) on Thursday. In other words the stock market stalled.

BSE's overall turnover slightly exceeded 377,000 leva. No trades were sealed on the REIT market on the day. BSE's overall turnover amounts to 1.7 mln leva since the start of the year.

BSE's average daily turnover stood at 6.4 mln leva in 2009 and at 11.7 mln leva in 2008.

A total of 51 issues were traded today with 34 of the stocks posting price gains.

Sopharma's stock price went up by 1.23% to 4.05 leva per share. Bulgarska Roza-Sevtopolis' stock appreciated by 0.54% to 1.498 leva per share.

Medica also posted a considerable advance on the day. The stock of the company added 17.07% to its value closing at 1.797 leva per share.

Momina Krepost was also among today's gainers. The stock closed 0.89% up at 1.71 leva per share.

Sopharma Trading ended the day with an advance of 0.71%, closing at 1.42 leva per share.

BSE's indexes, however, ended the day higher.
