Optimism didn't last long on BSE and today we witnessed another negative session. All four indexes ended with declines, BG40 lost the most – 1.6% to 333.46 points.

SOFIX fell 0.88% to 1155.14 points, while BGTR30 and BGREIT dipped 0.66% and 0.42% respectively to 776.63 and 93.49 points.

Daily turnover stood at 5.52 mln leva (2.8 mln euros), of which 1.53 mln leva on the market of bonds. The value of block and other agreed transactions stood at 2.61 mln leva (1.3 mln euros). 35 (32%) out of the 111 active issues today ended the session with gains.

Zarneni Hrani Bulgaria is today's highest liquid stock. 137,768 shares changed hands in 173 transactions today, bringing the holding's capitalization down 6.36%. The stock closed at 2.6 leva.

FIBank is second in terms of liquidity with 46,495 shares traded in 77 deals. The bank's average price dipped 2.73% to 7.12 leva a piece.

Monbat became the third most liquid issue today. The stock declined by 1.49% to 25.09 leva.

Chimimport also ranked among the highest liquid stocks after 34,050 shares changed hands at an average of 8.33 leva, which brought the market value of the Varna-based economic group down 0.24%.

2,265 shares in Metizi changed hands in one transaction today at an average of 2.1 leva, which is a hike of 2.94% for the position.

Today's list of gainers also includes Polimeri (+2.91% to 4.25 leva), Neochim (+2.34% to 56.81 leva) etc.

Bulgarian River Shipping AD lost 1.61% after 30,495 shares changed hands at an average of 5.5 leva. Central Cooperative Bank fell 2.57% to 4.93 leva.
