The main index on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange SOFIX jumped 1.92% and closed at a new record at 1658.26 leva. The index was mainly pushed by trade on the position of Industrial Holding Bulgaria.

As of today the company's stock does not entitle the holder to participation in the capital increase, and the price was expected to drop.

However, some investors, unaware of the fact, were surprised this morning, which lead to the advance on the position. The average price reached 11.20 leva, or 12.68% up from yesterday's corrected price.

BG40 was the only declining index today. The indicator dipped 1.21% to 426.39 points. The other two indices BGREIT and BGTR30 eked 0.01% and 0.50%, respectively, to 98.93 and 1025.41 points.

73 stocks declined and 65 advanced today.

Lead and Zinc Complex and Holding Varna A dropped 2.15% and 3.27%, respectively, to 79.12 leva and 42.84 leva.

Stara Planina Hold and Chimimport lost 1.49% and 0.21% to an average of 7.29 leva and 13.99 leva.

At the same time the shares of Monbat climbed 0.57% to 22.87 leva at a turnover of 7,102 lots.

Synergon Holding gained 2.58% to 13.11 leva, with a few transactions at 13.40 leva.

The stock of Bianor which debuted on the stock exchange yesterday declined 12.26% to 10.52 leva, while the emission of Specialized Business Systems, also floated yesterday, dipped 0.53% to 92.77 leva.

BSE's daily turnover stood at a little over 11.4 mln leva (5.828 mln euros).
