Bulgarian River Shipping AD January – September profit has trebled year on year.

The company reports profit in the amount of 3.152 mln leva (1.611 mln euros) on September 30, versus 913,000 leva (466,809 euros) a year ago. Profit per share stands at 0.24 leva.

The hike is by 124,000 leva (63,400 euros) compared with the previous quarter, when earnings amounted to 3.028 mln leva (1.548 mln euros).

Revenues reach 29.631 mln leva (15.150 mln euros), against 24.854 mln leva (12.707 mln euros) a year ago. Net sales revenues stand at 29.547 mln leva (15.107 mln euros), which is 5 mln more than a year ago. Revenues from services stand at 28.716 mln leva (14,682 mln euros), compared with 24.140 mln leva (12.342 mln euros) a year ago.

Costs rose by nearly 3 mln leva y/y to 26.129 mln leva (13.360 mln euros). Costs on economic elements stand at 25.927 mln leva (13.256 mln euros), against 23.071 mln leva (11.796 mln euros) in same period 2006.

Assets increased by more than 3 mln leva to 47.047 mln leva (24.054 mln euros). Bulgarian River Shipping AD has a core capital in the amount of 28.959 mln leva (14.806 mln euros), and its own capital stands at 38.026 mln leva (19.442 mln euros).

Shares rose 1.65% today to an average of 11.08 leva.
