Just 12 out of the 52 investment intermediaries in Bulgaria increased the number of their COBOS clients in July, BSE data show.

EFG Securities subscribed the most new clients – 36, but here we must note that the intermediary is transferring clients from the bank (Eurobank EFG). KD Securities have five new clients and Popular Kasa and Piraeus Bank both have four new clients.

Other intermediaries who issued new COBOS certificates in July are Unionbank and Euro Guarant (3 each), Somoni (2). Ug Market, Real Finance, Zagora Finarcoop, Varchev Finance and International Asset Bank have just 1 new client each.

Karoll is still the leader in terms of overall number of COBOS certificates (1,324), followed by Elana Trading and Bechmark Finance with respectively 1,041 and 989.

Ug Market is fourth and Capman. The top 10 also includes SIS, Popular Kasa 95, EFG Securities, Real Finance and Zagora Finarcoop. Next are Bulbrokers and Bora Invest, both with over 100 clients.

5,696 people invest via COBOS currently, compared with 5,721 a month ago. Total of 554 new certificates have been issued this year.
