A total of 84,000 common shares in Chimimport traded hands on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) today. The stock appreciated by 3.55% to 2.92 leva per share.

The preferred shares of the company also posted a gain on the day advancing by 2.15%, to 2.90 leva per share. The traded volume on the position came to 14,466 shares. Only a few other companies posted relatively high volumes on the day.

Eurohold Bulgaria (+0.68%, to 1.48 leva) was also among today's advancers. A total of 16,253 shares in the company changed hands.

Zarneni Hrani Bulgaria's stock closed the day 1.75% down at 0.76 leva per share. The traded volume on the position amounted to 15,707 shares.

Other advancers on the day included Sopharma (+1.27%, to 4.13 leva), Bulgarska-Roza Sevtopolis (+1.30%, to 1.48 leva) and Medica (+0.51%, to 1.96 leva).

First Investment Bank was the only advancer among the banking stocks on BSE on the day. The performance of the stocks was as follows: First Investment Bank (+1.80%, to 2.83 leva), Central Cooperative Bank (-0.32%, to 1.54 leva), Corporate Commercial Bank (-2.20%, to 59.01 leva) and Bulgarian American Credit Bank (-2.68%, to 18.49 leva).

BSE's major indexes ended Wednesday's session mixed. The SOFIX blue-chip index advanced by 0.08% to 466.37 points, while BG 40 lost 0.83% of its value to 125.25 points. Advancers on the day also included BG REIT (+0.75%, to 49.93 points) and BG TR30 (+0.01%, to 352.55 points).

BSE's overall turnover exceeded 773,000 leva on the day. A total of 77 issues were traded with 30 of the stocks posting price gains.
