Stara Planina mountain has always been an attraction for the lovers of long walks, tourists or people who just like to spend the weekend in a nice villa. It has already become a tradition for us at Profit.bg to tell you every week about a beautiful calm place where you can relax after the long week at work.

Today we are introducing something interesting and exciting - the alternative tourism ecoresort Kostenkovtsi, exceptional for its location in the heart of the “old” Balkan, 4 km away from the Dryanovski monastery and 8 km from the Bozhentsi architectural reserve.

The complex comprises three guest houses - Kostenkovtski Inn, the Treasure-Hunter’s House and the House with the Umbrellas. Restored in the authentic interior and exterior from the end of the XIX century, the place is not so much an architectural reserve, but a reserve of the spirit - a place, where you can feel how Bulgarians lived 100 years ago, where you can experience their pleasures, where you can breathe their air…

Don’t think the place does not offer all the comforts of modern life enjoyed by tourists. The complex comprises 3 apartments, 4 studios and double rooms with luxurious bathrooms, satellite TV and kitchen.

If you come here, you won’t just indulge in idleness in a luxurious room or sit in the tavern from early day, although the tavern offers some pretty tempting meals: fine Balkan retro menu, its own wine collection, home-made drinks and food served in antique copper sets. Actually spending your day in the tavern is not a bad idea at all. Besides all the things mentioned above, it also offers incredible taste adventures for the lovers of fine wine, homemade cheese and relishes.

However, if you are a fan of extreme emotions, Kostenkovtsi complex has a very pleasant surprise for you - the “Victoria” horse base. What else? Rent-a-bike, walking tourism, riding down eco pathways and many other things.

If, however, you are a romantic soul, the complex has a romantic ride in a cart for you or a picnic in the hart of the Balkan with special menu, prepared here. For desert in the, here’s how much money you have to put in your pocket to be able to enjoy all these pleasures.

A night in the complex (including breakfast or all-inclusive) costs between 32 and 60 leva for one person. The other extras are not expensive either: only 5 leva for a romantic ride in a cart; riding a horse will cost you no more than 30 leva/hour.
