Lomsko Pivo AD (

) posted pre-tax profit in the amount of 811,000 leva (414,657 euros) in the first eight months of the year, the company informed on its webpage.

Last year the brewery's profit for the same period stood at 31,000 leva (15,850 euros), while this year, the company reports 203,000 leva (103,792 euros) in earnings only in August.

Net sales revenues for the period stand at 5.117 mln leva (2.616 mln euros), versus 3.416 mln leva (1.746 mln euros) a year ago, which is a 49.8% increase.

Costs on economic elements for the period ending 31 August came to 4.285 mln leva (2.190 mln euros), against 3.319 mln leva (1.696 mln euros) last year, while financial costs rose to 95,000 leva (48,572 euros), from 29,000 leva (14,827 euros) last year.

Lomsko Pivo has a core capital in the amount of 4.5 mln leva (2.300 mln euros). The company was listed on the BSE in July, after it offered 900,000 shares at an auction.

9,270 shares changed hands in early trade today at prices between 3.52 and 3.57 leva.
