The massive selling on BSE was no joke today April 1 or April Fools Day. Turnover reached 7.65 mln leva (3.9 mln euros).

The blue chip index SOFIX lost 3.44% to 1211.82 points and BG40 fell 2.64% to 354.46 points.

The biggest decliner on the Official Market was Lead and Zinc Complex, whose shares plunged 13.38% to 48.28 leva at a turnover of 12,844. The decline follows a disappointing audited report.

107,831 shares (10% of the capital) changed hands on the position of Pamporovo Jsc Smolyan. The average price added nearly 11% to 21.09 leva, transactions were worth 2.27 mln leva.

Chimimport and Central Cooperative Bank declined 3.56% and 3.22% to respectively 8.40 and 5.71 leva.

IH Bulgaria and Synergon Holding also ended on negative territory – dropping 2.8% each to respectively 7.74 leva and 9.02 leva apiece.

Odessos Ship Repair Yard slipped 5.73% to 270.88 leva at a turnover of 62 shares.

The road builders Holding Roads and Trace Group Hold dipped 4.93% and 3.35% respectively to 952.07 and 116.77 leva apiece.

Shares of Zarneni Hrani Bulgaria fell 6.64% to 2.25 leva.

BGTR30 is down 1.74% to 809.57 points. BGREIT is the only advancing index – it closed at 97.76 points, which is 0.52% up from yesterday.
