Monbat Pls Doo Indjija- Serbia will increase capital from 2.085 mln leva euro to 2.285 mln euro and Monbat AD will provide 200,000 euro, BSE-Sofia's website reported.

The Bulgarian company will invest another 2.965 mln euro in its affiliated company which will be used for the purchase of plant and metalurgical plant equipment.

A technological line for recycling of used acumulators will be purchased from Engitec Technologies S. p. A. Novate Milanese and metalurgical furnaces will be purchased from BG Industries Tournes – France.

Monbat's sales revenues for the first four months of the year stand at 33.936 mln leva which is 37% more than a year ago.

The company posted a profit in the amount of 4.397 mln leva or 97% up compared with the first four months of 2006.

Prista Oil controls 68.3% of the company's capital while Monbat Trading has 7.06%.

A total of 62,135 Monbat shares changed hands yesterday at prices ranging between 11.80 and 12.24 leva per share.
