Monbat Posts 5.4 Mln Leva Profit For The First Five Months Of The Year, Stock Hits Record Levels
Monbat AD's profit for the first five months of the year stands at 5.4 mln leva(2 760 976 euros), or 93.43% up compared with the respective period a year ago, shows company data filed with the BSE.
The company's revenues in the period stand at 41.619 mln leva (21 279 456 euros), or 36.58% up from a year ago.
Monbat posted profit in the amount of 1.021 mln leva (522 029 euros) only for May, which is an 80.9% increase compared with May 2006.
Last month's revenues stand at 7.683 mln leva (3 928 255 euros), or 35.03% up year-on-year.
Monbat's core activity is the production and maintenance of lead-acid starter and stationery batteries . Prista Oil controls 68.3% of the company's capital and Monbat Trading has 7.06%.
3873 lots have changed hands on the position so far today, at levels ranging between 12.80 leva and 13.099 leva which is a new highest level for the stock.
