The new shares from the capital increase of EMKA AD Sevlievo are just a step away from BSE trade after the Financial Supervision Commission (FSC) registered the company's capital increase at its meeting today. The company is now only waiting for BSE to set the date on which the emission will be floated.

EMKA increased capital from 1 792 148 leva (916,310 euros) to 5 376 444 leva (2.748 mln euros) using own funds, by transfroming 2006 profit and part of the reserves into capital. The company issued 3 584 296 new, registered, paperless, voting shares with a face value of 1 lev.

The company's H1 profit dipped to 1.648 mln leva, against 2.089 mln leva a year ago.

EMKA AD's core activity is the production of power cables, cords, enamelled copper round wires etc. KEMP AD controls 38.73% of the capital, Industrial Capital Holding and Biser Ivanov have 33.42% and 7.28%, respectively.

777 shares changed hands on the position today at prices 17.00 and 17.25 leva.
