Only 74 deals in bonds were sealed on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) in May, which is the lowest number of transactions sealed in the last eight months, the monthly bulletin of the bourse shows.

The turnover amounted to 10.31 mln leva in the period. Deals sealed on BSE's Unofficial market accounted for 10.288 mln leva of the figure, while the value of those sealed on the Official market totaled 21,000 leva.

Eurohold Bulgaria and Eurolease Auto's second issue were the most liquid in May.

A total of 533 deals in bonds were sealed in the first five months of the year. The total value of the transactions amounted to 114.106 mln leva.

The months of March and April saw record values of transactions in bonds. The number of transactions stood at 121 in April with a total value of 32.9 mln leva. A month earlier bonds for 35.26 mln leva changed hands in 130 deals.
