Bulgaria’s office market is a reflection of this country’s economy, Johny Dunford, regional business manager – DTZ, said on the first day of the Balkan Real Estate Conference (BalREc) in Sofia.

“Soon we will witness higher quality of the offered offices not only in Romania, but also in Bulgaria and Serbia”, Dunford forecast.

He said most of the big office premises in our northern neighbour were let out to pharmaceutical companies, banks, telecoms and all other big multinationals which need prestigious offices.

Elitza Panayotova, CEO of Alfa Developments, said she was “ready to pay higher prices than the current for an office” but she needed to be sure of “the management, construction quality and level of the offered services”.
